Amber Shepherd, a junior from Paintsville, KY, was solid as she led the Lady Eagles to a conference split during the week and two wins total.
In the important 61-54 victory against KIAC foe Cincinnati Christian University, she swished 26 points on 6-15 field goals( 4-9 from long range) while adding 8 rebounds and 2 assists.
In the disappointing 65-56 defeat to Rio Grande University, she had 8 points and 3 rebounds.
In the road victory at Welch College, she pumped in 12 points and added 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists.
Also, special mention goes to Taylor Arthur, a sophomore from London, KY, who had the game of the year at Welch College.
In the critical road victory, she exhibited an incredible display with 20 points while connecting on 7-11 field goals and 6-6 free throws. Furthermore, she also added 14 rebounds and blocked 11 shots to register the rare triple-double.
