The Alice Lloyd College Eagles battled the 7th ranked Union College Bulldogs on Tuesday in a home matchup. The contest went to the visitors as they prevailed 94-75.
In the first half, Union showed why they are so highly regarded. They led 50-22 with four minutes remaining, but the hosts closed on a 14-0 run to get with in fourteen (50- 36) at the break.
In the second half, the Alice Lloyd managed to keep with in striking distance, but could never mount a serious run to put them back in contention.
For ALC (1-2) Tyler Rogers led the way with 21 points and 3 blocks. He was followed by Austin Crisp and Trevor Tiller with 16 and 13 points respectively. Crisp also led the club with 7 rebounds.
Nick Riley paced Union (4-2) with 30.
