Brandon Arnold - Cross CountryBrandon Arnold has been named as the new Head Cross Country coach at Alice Lloyd College. In addition to his cross country coaching duties, Arnold will also be serving the men’s baseball program as an assistant coach. Additionally, he will assist the Director of the Library and supervise the Campus Fitness Center.

 “Brandon is a quality fit in our athletics department”, stated Director of Athletics Gary D. Stepp. “As a former ALC athlete himself, he understands the opportunity our college provides student athletes. He has worked closely in athletics with the school for the past several years. He is a hard worker and has a strong desire to see our programs continue to grow.”

When asked what attracted him to the position, Arnold commented,” I like having the opportunity to continue to strengthen a program that is headed in the right direction. Also, I appreciate the chance to give back to a college that has given so much to me.” As far as his expectations, Arnold commented, “I want to see our teams work hard. I believe with the right student athletes and a lot of dedication, we need to set a goal of eventually competing for a conference championship. Most importantly, I hope to be a positive influence while helping develop high character men and women.”

Arnold, a native of Blountville, TN, is a 2008 graduate of Virginia High School and a 2013 graduate of Alice Lloyd College. He is married to Char-Leigh Craft Arnold, a native of Whitesburg and a 2012 graduate of Alice Lloyd College.
