Whitley Albury

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced Wednesday that 402 softball student-athletes have been named 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes. Alice Lloyd College is proud to announce that senior pitcher Whitley Albury has been named to this prestigious group.

Albury, a native of Peru, Nebraska and resident of Morgan County, KY, is a three year member of the Eagles softball program. Her major is Math Education. She has maintained a 3.77 GPA during her time at ALC.

In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
