The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles were back in action on Tuesday night, December 2nd against the Kentucky Christian Lady Knights. The Lady Eagles wound up losing this contest in a controversial ending, 82-81.

ALC had high hopes of getting back on track after a loss to rival Pikeville. The visitors got off to a much-needed good start, taking the lead in the early going. ALC was able to stabilize this advantage for the remainder the half and would take a six-point edge into the break (44-38).

ALC continued to hold their cushion for much of the second half. However, things would get much more interesting later in the match. Kentucky Christian was able to take the lead away from ALC. Alice Lloyd was close to coming away with the win but the calls would not go their way in the last few minutes. It is a game that the Lady Eagles won’t forget for a while as KCU outscored Alice Lloyd, 44-37.
