All grade levels of The June Buchanan School Academic Team have had another outstanding season. Competitions for elementary, middle grade, and high school students have resulted in a plethora of awards for JBS. The following summarizes this year’s achievements at each individual level.

Elementary
Elementary:

  • 1st Overall, 1st in Quick Recall, and 1st in FPS at district level
  • Hannah Hall: District—2nd in Composition (tie)
  • Destiny Huff: District 2nd in Composition (tie), 4th in Language Arts
  • Jon Kunkel: District—1st in Science, 2nd in Social Studies
  • Morgan Kunkel: District—1st in Social Studies, 3rd in Language Arts
  • Ashley Moore: District—4th in Arts & Humanities
  • Dylan Moore: District—1st in Math, 2nd in Science; Regional—5th in Math
  • Josh Pugh: District—5th in Math
  • Alayna Slone: 2nd in Language Arts, 4th in Composition

Middle Grade:
