Kayla Stambaugh pitched the first game for ALC. Alice Lloyd drew first blood with a run in the top of the first inning, but Berea answered with three of their own to capture the lead.

ALC manufactured two runs in the second to tie the score, but Berea answered again, breaking the game open with eight in their half of the third inning. The lead was insurmountable as the Lady Eagles could not make a comeback.

Game 2
ALC 0
BC 2

Game two of the series featured Whitley Albury as the starter for the the Lady Eagles. It was pretty much a pitcher’s duel all game long as neither team conceded a run until the bottom of the fourth when BC got on the board. The home team would score one more time in the fifth.

The Lady Eagles kept themselves in the game and had opportunities to draw even as they produced seven hits, but had nothing to show for it. ALC also committed two errors.
