The Alice Lloyd Eagles played host to Johnson University on Monday, March 31st. The Eagles took the lead early and never looked back, claiming a decisive 10-4 win.

Justin Smith was the starting pitcher in this game for Alice Lloyd. The Eagles scored in each of the first four innings (one in the first, three in the second, one in the third, and one in the fourth) to take a 6-1 lead. The Eagles scored two more in the sixth, while Johnson brought home three. It was too late, however, for Johnson U as ALC was well on its way to victory.

Trae Minton, Alex Dapkus, Ryan Loggins, Austin White and Will Hamilton all had RBIs for ALC. Smith went three innings, allowing just one run on four hits while striking out five and walking two. Chance Westerfield, Greg Wright, Chris Delgado, Timmy Sublett and Wayne Sparks pitched the last six innings in relief. The relievers gave up three runs, but none of them were earned while giving up only two hits and striking out three.
