Game 1

ALC 0 – BU 5

Whitley Albury pitched game one of the series for ALC. Brescia got on the board with four runs in the first and never looked back. The home team scored one more in the fourth to make it 5-0 and would continue to coast. The Lady Eagles recorded eight base hits in the contest, but had no runs to show for the hits.

Game 2
ALC 0 – BU 12

Kayla Stambaugh was named the starter for the second game of the four-game set. Two first-inning runs gave BU the lead that they would not relinquish. Six more in the second inning made it 8-0 in favor of the Lady Bearcats. The home team continued their onslaught by adding four more in the third and fourth innings (two in each inning). Six hits were recorded by the visitors, but again, they were unable to get any runners home.

Game 3
ALC 0- BU 10

Albury returned to the mound for the third game. A three-run first gave BU a 3-0 lead. BU scored two more in the second inning and five more in the fourth to put the game out of reach. The Lady Eagles got only one hit.

Game 4
ALC 7 – BU 21

Stambaugh pitched the series finale for ALC. The Lady Eagles’ bats finally woke up, scoring one run the first. However, BU would put a twelve spot on the board in their half of the first. Alice Lloyd scored four more to cut into the deficit, but BU scored seven in the bottom half of the second.

Although the gap was way too big to overcome, the Lady Eagles showed good signs of hitting and getting runs home. The Lady Eagles recorded fourteen hits in the matchup. Tailor Morgan, Tori Price, Megan Boswell, Whitley Albury, Kayla Stambaugh, Morgan Chestnut and Megan Jones all had RBIs for ALC.
