The Alice Lloyd Eagles traveled to Grayson, Kentucky on Tuesday, December 3rd, to take on the Kentucky Christian Knights. The Eagles had zero problems taking this one as they would go on to tear apart the Knights, 83-59.

Alice Lloyd looked to build off of their previous victory and get back-to-back wins. ALC began the game with a 10-2 run that was capped off with a lob to Tyler Rogers for the slam dunk. The Eagles gave the Knights all sorts of problems with a full-court press, causing chaos and wreaking havoc to jump out to a huge lead. When the dust settled, they took a twenty-point lead into the locker room, 50-30.

ALC eased off the throttle in the second half as J.R. Hammond decided to empty his bench. Despite not playing at maximum effort, Alice Lloyd still outscored KCU, 33-29.

Alice Lloyd’s leading scorer was Kuron Mitchell with 20 points. The guard was nearly perfect from the floor, connecting on 9 of the 10 field goals he attempted. Tyler Rogers, in only his second game back after suffering a knee injury earlier in the season, had 14 points while Isaac Wilson tallied 13.

As a team, the Eagles shot an incredible 60% from the floor.

Kentucky Christian was led by Trevor Hunt with 14 points.

Next up, the Eagles will travel to Pittsburgh, PA for a weekend date with Point Park University on December 7th. Game time is set for 3 PM.
