Kuron Mitchell has been named this week’s Male Athlete of the Week.

Mitchell has been one of the biggest surprises on the team so far, and his performances of late have validated that. In the Eagles’ first game (November 8th) of the BB&T Basketball Classic, the sophomore had 10 points and 4 rebounds versus West Virginia Tech. The guard out of Beckley, West Virginia went on to produce 18 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds in game two of the Classic (against Virginia Intermont).
