Men vs BoyceThe Alice Lloyd Eagles were back in action on Tuesday night, November 12th, as they hosted the Boyce College Bulldogs out of Louisville, Kentucky. ALC was never challenged in this contest as the home team won this one going away, 88-54.

The Eagles came out and had their best game of the season up to this point. ALC would start the game on a 14-0 run and continued to pour it on from there, extending their lead even further to take a 52-31 lead into the locker room.

Alice Lloyd maintained the onslaught in the second half as Coach J.R. Hammond gave everyone on the team a chance to play and give their all. For a while, it appeared that ALC was going to reach triple digits, but the hosts pulled back a little bit. Still yet, the Eagles managed to outscore the visitors in the second half, 36-23.

Kuron Mitchell and Cody Malicoat led ALC in scoring with 11 points. Mitchell also had 9 assists. It was a great team effort as all players for Alice Lloyd scored.

Boyce was led by junior guard Austin Murphree with18 points.

Alice Lloyd returns to the court on Saturday, November 16th, when they face Milligan College. Game time is set for 4 PM at ALC’s Grady Nutt Athletic Center.
