The Alice Lloyd Eagles traveled to Powell, Tennessee on Tuesday, November 19th, to play the Crown College Crusaders. The Eagles won this matchup, 84-56.

Coming off a loss at home to Milligan College, the Eagles looked to bounce back in a battle with Crown. The first half saw a very competitive contest as the lead changed hands multiple times. However, it was the homestanding Crusaders who took a 32-31 halftime advantage.

The Eagles decided to switch gears and upped their game in the second half. Alice Lloyd obliterated Crown in the last stanza, outscoring the Crusaders by a score of 53-24. It was another opportunity for head coach J.R. Hammond to give everyone on the team playing time.

The co-leaders for ALC in scoring were Trevor Combs and Kuron Mitchell with 12 points. Mitchell also had 5 rebounds while senior guard Isaac Wilson produced 11 points and led the team in assists with 4. Cody Stumbo contributed 10 points to the final tally.

Next up, the Eagles travel to Kentucky Christian University on December 3rd for a game that tips at 7:30 PM.
