On Friday, October 18th, the Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles volleyball team confronted three conference opponents: IU East, Berea and Brescia. Below is a brief recap of each contest. The matches were played in Berea, Kentucky.

The first match of the day featured Alice Lloyd and the IU East Lady Red Wolves. The top team in the conference won the games by a score of 25-9, 25-16 and 25-10.

Delaney Pritchard and Katie McFarland led the way with 14 digs and 10 digs, respectively. Macy Allen recorded ALC’s team-high in kills with 2.

The Lady Eagles’ second gauntlet of the day was against the Berea Lady Mountaineers. The Lady Mountaineers defeated ALC, 25-4, 25-9 and 25-19.

The team leader in digs was McFarland with 17. Sadie Slone recorded 7 digs while Delaney Pritchard had 6. Macy Allen produced 3 kills.

ALC wrapped up the series with Brescia. 25-14, 25-14 and 25-8 were the game scores.

Pritchard and Allen generated 14 digs between them. Allen once again led the team in kills with 4.

The Lady Eagles will end the season with two home matches on the 25th and 28th. Their opponents will be Appalachian Bible College and Crown College.
