ALC vs. IU Southeast

Battling a conference powerhouse on a second consecutive day of action proved to be too much for the young Lady Eagles squad. Alice Lloyd played hard but struggled as they tangled with the Lady Grenadiers at the net, losing the first two sets by scores of 25-10 and 25-8. The Lady Eagles managed to tie the third set at 14, but that was as close as they would get.

Delaney Pritchard had 5 digs, while Macy Allen, Sadie Slone, and Jessie Carter each had 2 kills.

Friday, August 30th

ALC @ Cincinnati Christian

In their first road trip of the 2013-14 season, the Lady Eagles traveled up north to battle non-conference opponent Cincinnati Christian. ALC had a rough go of things in this matchup, falling 25-7, 25-11, and 25-13.

Delaney Pritchard, Jamie Ginter, Hali Adams, and Katie McFarland had 2 digs apiece.

The Lady Eagles will look to bounce back on Tuesday, September 10th, when they travel south to battle Tennessee teams Hiwassee and Johnson University.
