The Alice Lloyd College chapter of Phi Beta Lambda recently traveled to Anaheim, California to attend the National Leadership Conference. The conference was held June 22nd — June 25th at the Hilton Anaheim. Ten ALC students represented the College, competing in events ranging from marketing concepts and business law to information management and statistical analysis. They competed against nearly 2,000 college students from 47 states. The PBL members also attended workshops and seminars to improve their skills and to network with other PBL members from across the nation.

Four ALC students were recognized nationally for their achievements at the conference. Senior China Riddle took home the 1st Place trophy for Business Law. Allison Holbrook, who was recently elected PBL Reporter for the state of Kentucky, received 2nd Place in Business Communications. Recent ALC graduate Rebekah Bevins came home with two wins, placing 6th in Marketing Concepts and 9th in Project Management. Sophomore Austin Allen placed 9th in the Information Management event. ALC students Sam Riddle, James Mullins, Jarrod Stamper, Brent Mills, Candace Hughes, and Amelia Johnson also represented Kentucky PBL during the conference.
