The Lady Eagles traveled to Berea College on Tuesday. Here is a quick rundown of the two-game series.

Kayla Stambaugh started the series opener for Alice Lloyd. Berea got two runs in the bottom of the first. In the third inning, they would score eight more to put the game away.

ALC could only muster three hits against Berea. Stambaugh had 2 of them while Chelsea Brown had the other.

 

Game 2

In game two, Whitley Albury would be the starting pitcher for ALC. The Lady Eagles got off to a fantastic start in the top of the first, as they would put up five runs. Unfortunately, this would not last as Berea would score nine runs over the first three innings to take a 9-5 advantage. Alice Lloyd was able to get two runs in the last inning but still fell four runs short.

ALC managed to put up eleven hits in this contest. Megan Boswell led the team with 3 RBIs while Shayla Brinegar had 2. Chelsea Brown and Albury also drove in runs.
