Carla Booth

 

Alice Lloyd College sophomore Carla Booth was named the KIAC women’s basketball player of the week by KIAC officials on Monday, February 18th.

Booth averaged 24.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3.5 steals while leading the Eagles to a 2-0 record last week. She connected on 58.3 percent (21-of-36) of her field goal attempts and 50 percent (4-of-8) from behind the 3-point line. The sophomore guard recorded 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals in a 76-70 win against Ohio Christian University. She finished the week with 31 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in an 88-75 win against Midway College. Booth is ranked 21st in NAIA Division II assists per game (4.269) and 22nd in points per game (17.154).

Alice Lloyd College is currently 17-10 overall and 10-5 in conference play. They will return to action on February 21st for the opening round of the KIAC Tournament.
