The Alice Lloyd Eagles traveled to Morehead to face NCAA Division 1 opponent Morehead State University. When the horn signaled the end of the contest, the hosts had earned the 101-50 victory.

In the opening half, ALC battled hard and did a respectable job of handling Morehead’s pressure defense. Despite that fact, MSU used their strength and quickness to pull ahead 41-23 by intermission.

In the second half, the host’s up-tempo defense finally began to pay dividends. They were able to break down the Eagles as they outscored them 60-28 over the final twenty minutes.

For ALC (3-4) Tyler Rogers was the only player to reach double figures as he scored 14 points. He also pulled down 5 rebounds and added 3 blocks.

Center Terry Muse led in rebounding with 6, while junior Isaac Wilson tallied 5 assists to lead in that department.

Morehead State (2-1) was led by forward Milton Chavis with 17 points.
