The Alice Lloyd Eagles traveled to Pikeville on Saturday to face the University of Pikeville Bears. Poor shooting cost the visitors dearly as they fell 101-58.

In the first half, UPike took control early and jumped out to an early lead. By intermission, they were on top 42-26.

In the second half, the Eagles shooting woes continued. They were never able to go on one of their typical runs to put themselves back into contention, while the Bears continued to shoot well.

For ALC (2-3) Isaac Wilson led all scorers, as the junior tossed in 21 points. Senior Terry Muse added 14 and tied with Wilson for assist honors with 3.

Freshman Tyler Rogers chipped in with 8 points and a game high 9 rebounds.

UPike (6-0) was led by Jamar Brisco with 19 points.
