The Alice Lloyd Eagles traveled to Williamsburg to face the Patriots from the University of the Cumberlands. The hosts scored at least one run in each of the first four innings, and they made it stand up in earning a 5-1 decision.

The Eagles were outhit 6-3 on the night. Shane Pack was a bright spot as he went 2-3 with one double. The Eagles hurt themselves as they stranded six runners.

Pitcher Neil Dillon started the contest. He gave up just 2 earned runs and dropped the tough loss.
