SEPTEMBER 17

ALC TENNIS FALLS ON THE ROAD IN CONFERENCE TRI-MATCH PLAY

The Lady Eagles traveled to Midway to face Midway College. The Eagles dropped behind early and fell to the home team 9-0 .The Lady Eagles then faced an IU East team from Richmond, Indiana. The visitors fell 8-1 to the club from Indiana.

OCTOBER 2

LADY EAGLES DROP TWO DECISIONS AT INDIANA

The Lady Eagles traveled to New Albany, Indiana as they continued a rough stretch of away matches. The girls first battled St. Louis College of Pharmacy before dropping a 7-2 decision. They then fell 0-7 to the home club from IU East.

OCTOBER 22

LADY EAGLES DROP HEARTBREAKER TO BEREA

The Lady Eagles finally had a home match after playing all of their games on the road because of weather cancellations. They battled the Berea Mountaineers to the wire before falling 5-4. Every match was close as Coach Mary Turner’s club made a solid showing.

OCTOBER 23

LADY EAGLES FALL TO MIDWAY

The girls had to return to action the next day to play a make-up game with Midway and fatigue showed early. The girls had a good effort but dropped a 9-0 decision to the strong visiting club.

OCTOBER 25

LADY EAGLES FALL IN FINAL HOME MATCHUP

The Lady Eagles closed out the regular season with a make-up contest vs. Asbury. The visitors jumped ahead early before closing out the day with a 5-0 match victory. ALC senior Sara Burchell was recognized before her last home game.
