The Alice Lloyd Eagles raced out to a 27 point halftime lead, and bombed the visiting Brescia University Bearcats 84-62. The big KIAC Conference home victory was also the Eagles third consecutive win.

Playing perhaps their best half of the year, Alice Lloyd jumped on BU from the opening tip, as they quickly raced out to an 11-2 lead in the first four minutes of the game.

Sparked by senior guard Daniel Combs (Hazard) and junior guard Zach Hurt (Cordia), the Eagles lead quickly mushroomed to 20 points. At the half, the lead was up to 27 (51-24).

In the second half, the hosts kept the pressure on as they maintained a cushion between 25-30 points for most of the way. The Bearcats never cut the deficit any closer than 20 points, as the boys from Pippa Passes put on a dominating performance.

For the victors (7-18, 3-6 KIAC), Combs and Hurt led the way with 17 and 16 points apiece. Senior forward Will Jones (Manchester) tossed in 13, while freshman guard Issac Wilson added 10 points and a game high 8 assists. Sophomore forward Brent Hall (Kite) helped the cause with 9 points and a game high 12 rebounds.

Brescia (8-15, 4-5 KIAC) was led by Aaron Tandy with 22 points.
