The Alice Lloyd Eagles traveled to Berea Tuesday night for a big conference matchup. When the final horn sounded, the Berea College Mountaineers had pulled out an 87-73 victory.

In the first half, poor shooting plagued the Eagles as they shot only 25%. BC used this to their advantage and took a 39-26 lead into the locker room.

In the second half, Alice Lloyd outscored the hosts by 1 point and stayed within striking distance. Unfortunately they were unable to mount a serious run as Berea held on for the win.

For ALC (7-19, KIAC 3-7), they were led by senior Daniel Combs (Hazard) with 17 points. Joining him in double figures were junior Michael Lyndon (Redfox) and freshmen Issac Wilson (Corbin) with 15 and 10 points respectfully. Combs hauled down a game high 9 rebounds.
Berea (15-11, KIAC 6-4) was led by Rudy Evans and Trey Congleton with 17 points each.
