The Alice Lloyd College cheerleading squad has put in a lot of hours preparing for this year’s basketball season, and it has really paid off! In addition to working on their own routines, the ALC cheerleaders have taken time out to help a group of younger girls—the Baby Eagles! This “mini” cheer squad consists of young ladies from JBS in preschool through 2nd grade. The Baby Eagles have performed at halftime of ALC games, doing both a dance routine and cheers along with the ALC cheerleaders. The college cheerleaders have had an amazing time working with the JBS students, and they plan to continue the Baby Eagles squad next season. Special thanks to all the ALC cheerleaders and Coaches Ida Halcomb and Kristi Crum for starting this wonderful program!
