The Alice Lloyd Eagles played 10 contests away from home over the past week and finished a respectable 4-6. Below is a recap of each game.{nl}APRIL 15{nl}GAME 1{nl}ALC-13; Ohio Christian-1{nl}ALC opened the first inning with 6 runs and never looked back in the win. Adam Adkins and Kyle Potter each homered and had two hits apiece. Tyler Williams pitched well and earned the shutout.{nl}GAME 2{nl}ALC-10; Ohio Christian-3{nl}For the second straight contest ALC jumped ahead 6-0 in earning the sweep. Josh Napier had three hits. Jason Bowling drove in 3 RBI’s on two hits, including a home run. Jordan Stumbo, Kyle Potter, and Josh Branham also had two hits apiece. Nick Gray earned the victory on the mound.{nl}APRIL 16{nl}GAME 1{nl}Berea-12; ALC-4{nl}In a big conference matchup, ALC jumped out 2-0 before they gave up 4 unearned runs to lose their momentum. In defeat, Carter Sibley played excellent as he went 4-5 and belted a home run. Kyle Potter and Joe Rasnake each went 3-4, and Potter added a homer of his own. Will Ray suffered the tough loss on the mound. {nl}GAME 2{nl}Berea-11; ALC-10{nl}A controversial called foul ball gave the hosts one more swing and they used it to drive in 2 runs to win the contest. Kyle Potter went 3-4 and CJ Lynn, Joe Rasnake, and Carter Sibley each added two hits each.  ALC did hurt themselves by stranding 8 runners. Cory Brewer was the hard-luck loser on the mound.{nl}APRIL 19{nl}GAME 1{nl}ALC-15; Johnson Bible-1{nl}ALC took out their frustrations on the home standing team. Kyle Potter had a monster game as he blasted 2 home runs and drove in 6 RBI’s. Adam Adkins drove in two runs with his two hits, while Evan Heath added a double which drove in three more runs. Nick Gray only gave up two hits and earned the victory on the mound.{nl}GAME 2{nl}ALC-16; Johnson Bible-1{nl}Johnson Bible was probably glad to see Kyle Potter leave after the game as the right fielder continued his stellar play from game one. In game two, Potter batted 2-2 and blasted another home run to drive in two runs.( In the two contests, he batted 4-5, blasted 3 home runs, and drove in 8 RBI’s.){nl}Potters buddies offered great help in this game as well. Tyler Estep went 3-4 and drove in 5 runs. Adam Adkins, Joe Rasnake, Taylor Sewell, and Jason Bowling each added 2 hits apiece.  On the mound, Tyler Williams earned the easy victory. {nl}APRIL 22{nl}GAME 1{nl}UVW-5; ALC-4{nl}ALC jumped ahead 3-0, but Wise slowly worked their way into the lead and managed to hang on in a squeaker. At bat, the Eagles managed only three hits, but Kyle Potter and C J Lynn both homered. On the mound, Trevor Corns scattered only 8 hits, but suffered the defeat.{nl}GAME 2{nl}UVW-20; ALC-10{nl}Both teams had 14 hits in a contest that was a slugfest. The Eagles led 5-1 before UVW registered 13 unanswered runs in the bottom of the third and surged to victory. Jordan Stumbo and Tyler Estep had three hits apiece in defeat. Will Ray was credited with the pitching loss.
