Alice Lloyd College and June Buchanan School co-present the adventure comedy Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There, by Rosemary Nursey-Bray adapted from Lewis Carroll’s book of the same name. This production is directed by Megan Burnett, the Speech and Theatre professor at Alice Lloyd College, with special arrangement with Anchorage Press Plays. {nl}The Alice Lloyd College Eagle Theatre Department and June Buchanan School will present the adventure comedy Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There April 8, 9, 10 at 7:30 pm.  Student matinee performances are April 8 at 10:00 am and April 9 at 1:00 pm.  The performances will be held in the Campbell Arts Center Auditorium on the campus of Alice Lloyd College in Pippa Passes, Kentucky.  This presentation is free to the public.  Refreshments will be sold in the lobby.{nl}This 60 minute play is a fast-paced funny adventure for the whole family to enjoy.  This play takes Alice, from Alice in Wonderland fame, back into the world of Wonderland, only this time, there is a chess game going on and Alice has to find her way to the 8th square to become a Queen.  On the way she meets Kings and Queens, talking flowers, Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Dee, the Walrus and the Carpenter, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare, Red and White Knights, and of course, the Jabberwocky.  The sets and costumes were designed and built by ALC students and community volunteers, and the actors include students from the June Buchanan School and Alice Lloyd College.  Local musicians Josh Davis and Justin Maynard are featured in the production.  {nl}Come join Alice Lloyd College, June Buchanan School and Director Megan Burnett for this exciting and fun performance!
