The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles traveled to Louisville Monday afternoon to face the Eutectics of St. Louis College of Pharmacy. The game was played at the Louisville Hoops Academy. After the dust settled, ALC had earned their first conference win 85-44.{nl}In the first half, the Lady Eagles roared out of the gates strong, as they pushed the ball well and kept SLCOP on the defensive. By intermission ALC led 45-16.{nl}In the second half, the Lady Eagles kept up their fast tempo as every girl contributed in the big victory.{nl}For ALC (5-10; 1-2), every lady who played dinted the scorebook. They were paced by junior Heather Dean and freshman Brittni McCoy with 10 points each.{nl}For the Lady Eutectics (2-12; 0-3), Hannah Renner paced all scorers with 17.{nl}ALC returns to the hardwood on Saturday, January 23rd as they travel to Midway to face the Eagles of Midway College. The important conference showdown will take place at 2pm.
