The Brescia Bearcats connected on 59 percent from the field and defeated the home standing Alice Lloyd Eagles 78-67 in a match up held Wednesday night.{nl}In the first half, the Bearcats shot a blistering 63 percent from the field.  But ALC connected on 6 of 10 from downtown and trailed by only 5 (39-34) at intermission.{nl}In the second half, BU hit six 3’s of their own to stretch their lead to double-digits.  The Eagles fought back, but when forced to foul, the Bearcats hit 10-13 free throws to seal the victory.{nl}For ALC (4-10), three players finished in double figures.  Junior Daniel Combs led the way with 17.  Sophomore Brandon Hayes and junior Will Jones added 12 and 10, respectively.{nl}For BU (13-6), they were paced by the duo of Anthony Ingram and Aaron Tandy with 19 and 18.{nl}The Eagles return to the hardwood on Saturday, January 16th as they travel to Cincinnati to face the Cincinnati Christian University Eagles.
